AIMS & OBJECTIVES:

The society is being formed with the object of advancement of research, education, training and treatment in the field of ‘Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain Medicine’ and for the said purpose:

To promote academic and scientific activities and encourage research in the field of ‘Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain Medicine’.

To promote awareness regarding pain medicine and its management using ultrasound amongst the public.

To organize Continuing Medical Education Programs (CME), training programs, meetings and conferences in the field of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain Medicine

To establish guidelines and protocols in the field of ‘Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain Medicine’

To organize conferences, seminars, workshops or other meets of professionals engaged in research and treatment of painful disease conditions using musculoskeletal ultrasound to update and exchange information in the field and to share the knowledge, skill and  expertise of eminent personalities from different parts of the world.

To Publish research papers, scientific papers, Journals, newsletters and articles aimed to propagate and upgrade knowledge and skill in the field of ‘Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain Medicine’ and its related implementation and to make available books, periodicals and do everything possible for communication of knowledge, skills and expertise to persons engaged in research and treatment of such conditions.

To arrange for lectures, debates, seminars, study-trips for enhancement of knowledge in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain Medicine

To Co-operate with other institutions engaged in the treatment and research of painful disease conditions by having joint programs for conducting conference and seminars or by having any other joint project relating to pain management.

To foster, initiate, undertake, provide, assist institutions and organizations either by itself or along with like-minded individuals or institutions, in providing educational research, training, guidance, counseling & consultation and evaluation related to Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in pain medicine.

To give grants, subsidies or other assistance by medical camps for medical treatments in the field pain management and arrange such financing of such programs or such other help as would be necessary in the circumstances of each case.

To work towards awareness about non-surgical less invasive modern interventional reliable treatment options at in different painful conditions and to start training programs in the field of musculoskeletal ultrasound in pain medicine.

To seek affiliations of the society with national and international associations, organizations and bodies to achieve the objectives of the society.

To generate funds to carry out the objectives of the society.

To construct, maintain, improve or/and alter any buildings, houses or other works necessary or convenient for the purpose of the society.

To undertake any other activity consistent with the above objects and to do all such acts, matters and things as may be deemed incidental or conductive to the foregoing objects.

So however that the objects set out above shall be conducted in such manner that no part of its income or property shall ever accrue to the private benefit of any member, officer or individual having substantial interest in the activities of the society.

2. It is hereby provided that:-

1. Objects mentioned hereinabove shall be conducted as per prevailing laws of the Country.
2. The income and properties of the society whatsoever derived or obtained shall be applied solely towards promotion of the objects of the society and no portion thereof shall be paid or divided amongst any of its members or office bearers by way of profits.
